Animal control was called to a Florida home after a three year-old toddler was bitten in the face by a pit bull.
When authorities arrived at the home, residents refused to open the door, forcing officers to go to the backdoor where they encountered another dog. One officer was forced to shoot the dog in the paw after the dog lunged at her.
The child was taken to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries. The dog that bit the toddler has been impounded.
