According to local reports out of Lakewood, New Jersey, a baby has recently suffered life-threatening personal injuries in a vicious dog attack.
The infant, whose name has not been released, was bitten by a dog at least once at a home in Lakewood, NJ, at around 7:15 p.m. this past Saturday night.
The child was taken to the Jersey Shore Medical Center emergency room located in nearby Neptune Township, NJ, with life-threatening dog bite injuries. The child is currently listed in critical condition.
Local police officials are investigating the dog bite incident to determine the cause of the dog attack.
