Alexis Hernandez, 6, suffered severe personal injuries after a Labrador Retriever mix bit him in the face.
On August 15, 2012, Hernandez, of Snow Hill, Florida, was attempting to play fetch with a stray Labrador Retriever mix on Amber Lane near Highway 903. At that time, the dog became extremely aggressive and bit Hernandez in the face.
The dog tore the boy’s cheek and bit through his ear. Hernandez received stitches on the inside and outside of his mouth. The dog is scheduled to be put down soon, and is now being observed for rabies.
