According to local police, a man from Englewood, New Jersey has endured a double assault when he was first attacked by his neighbor’s dogs and then stabbed by their owner.
Larry Dungey, 53, was reportedly walking his two dogs without their leashes when the animals attacked Dungey’s neighbor at around 8 p.m. this past Thursday March 28.
Following the dog attack, the two men began arguing, resulting in Dungey pulling out a knife and stabbing the victim in the hand. The victim was able to wrestle the knife from Dungey, who was soon apprehended by two police detectives patrolling the area.
Police have filed numerous charges against Dungey, including aggravated assault and various weapons related offenses.
The victim was not seriously injured in either the dog attack or the assault by Dungey.
