The dog that was involved in the dog attack on an 8 month-old Butler, Ohio baby is still at large, according to local Ohio authorities.
Cameron Brazil and his infant son, Caiden, were playing in their backyard when a stray dog wandered onto their property and bit young Caiden above his left eye. Caiden was transported to the MedCental/Mansfield Hospital where he received four stitches.
Brazil reported the dog bite incident to the Richland County, Ohio Dog Warden’s office and described the dog as being a short-haired, brown pitbull.
Local authorities continue to search for the canine to conduct mandatory rabies tests. Misdemeanor or felony charges may also be filed against the owner of the dog, depending on Ohio state law classifications.
