Mauling Victim at Bronx Zoo To Be Arrested by NYPD.

A spokesman for the New York City Police Department (NYPD) has said that they intend to arrest David Villalobos, 25, after he deliberately jumped into a tiger exhibit at the Bronx Zoo and was mauled by a tiger.

Villalobos purposely leaped into a Bronx Zoo exhibit on Saturday because he reportedly wanted to “be one with the tiger.”

It appears that the tiger did not wish to be one with the intruder, however, and subsequently mauled Villalobos upon his entrance into the exhibit.

Villalobos was transported to an area hospital emergency room following his mauling, where he remains in stable condition. Villalobos suffered bite marks to his back and numerous broken bones in the animal attack incident.

The NYPD plans to charge Villalobos with trespassing when he is released from the hospital.
